hp elitebook 840 strange problem

hi everyone i have an hp elitebook G1 motherboard 6050a2560201-ma03.
I don't know where I'm going to start, the laptop turns on I see the hp logo and it restarts, sometimes it starts up normal after a few seconds it goes into sleep mode, you have to press the power button to exit sleep mode and it goes back to sleep mode again. sometimes it works for a few hours.when it returns to sleep mode it cannot exit.no liquid damage no corrosion

Have you tried disconnecting the lid sensor?

Had same problem with two Elitebook 840 G1.
FIXED: desolder Docking port on side CN3601
