    Apple Macbook pro A1707

    Hello
    I have a laptop Apple MacBook Pro A1707 with password bios I open the laptop to reprogram bios to unlock the password after reflash bios with a new file the laptop Turns on and the CPU fan spins but no data on the display screen.
    I open the motherboard There is a missing resistor I installed a resistor but it didn't work Please help what do I do?

    Whats the history of the machine, has someone else worked on it before, was it you or someone else who knocked the resistor off. Did you check that the serial number in the bios matched the one on the case

      No one work on the board just me .
      after the first file does not work I'm removing password bios from the original file but didn't work .

            1) What is the logic board number ? It should be of the format 820-xxxx.

            2) Did the display ever work ?

            3) A1707 is impacted by the 'flexgate' issue with Apple. The cables they applied for the LCD display were too short and over time, the LCD interface cable breaks causing this event.
