Dell Latitude e6510 starts after 3 or 4 times pressing power

    Hello friends,
I have a problem that Dell latitude e6510 motherboard wont turn on after power on press. Shows 0.05 amp on DC power supply. At this time 3v and 5v are present, but after power button press other voltages are not generated, means cpu core voltage, ram voltage, graphics voltage are absent. After pressing 3 or 4 time all voltages come and it takes 1.5amp and display comes.
What is the problem, please help me.

      Hi.

      1) Happy Diwali.

      2) Are you using the Dell original power adapter? From the internet, 90W appears to be recommended.

      3) once the laptop works, is it stable to function normally? If it stable, consider to reflash the logic board using the normal bios update method. You should be able to use windows or usb media for this process.

      4) if using Dell power supply, from past reviews, Dell has an adapter ID pin. Much like Apple, the ID pin spits out ID data over a single wire interface. Perhaps this ID function is not working. Confirm the connection to the power adapter and the ID pin. Try another Dell power adapter.

      5) remove all power. Meter in resistance mode. Check and post the resistance to ground on each coil where the power rails are known to fail on your logic board.

      6) if there is a RTC coin battery (CR2032 perhaps), replace it and try again. When the board fails to turn on, locate where the on / off button is connected. Then attempt to turn on the board manually at the logic board. Perhaps the power button or connection is flaky.
