Hi,
i have a Thunderbolt 3 Dock (40AN Type), with a non working Thunderbolt 3 Connector on the back.
The Dock was fine, until i wanted to test a magentic USB-C (TB3 compatible) Adatapter for the connection. After a few plug/unplug test of the magnetic Adapter, the TB3 dock was not responding anymore. It even damaged the TB3 cable (0.7m).
So the whole dock is not responding at he Backside TB3 connector to a Lenovo Notebook (tested 3 Notebooks with TB3 ports).
If i plug the notebook on the front TB3 connector to the USB-C (TB3 compatbile) connector, the dock seems to be fine.
Has someone repaired such Dock problems in the past?
