    Asus GL553VW restart under load/SOLVED/ - What is purpose of +VCCGT ?

    Hello.
Have this asus Asus GL553VW that restart under load when install or start system.
By scope i found that middle phase not work and +VCCGT s 0V even when working. Dont have chip so i took one from +VCCGT and replace middle CPU phase IC. Now have all phases working and laptop work like it should have.

So what is that +VCCGT for? I see that it goes to CPU so im was thinking about IGPU but i see it found and install drivers for intel without problems and works ok when nvidia drivers was not installed

I am missing VCCAXG/VCCGFX/VCCGT (iGPU core voltage), how do I solve it?

The iGPU core voltage is almost never relevant. It typically only comes up when there's a significant load on the iGPU. It can often be seen spiking a couple of times on the oscilloscope when POSTing.

In other words, it's generally normal that it's missing. If you have some kind of issue with the machine, the cause is most likely elsewhere.
