    Ddr3/ddr4 ram section voltage requirements(working)

    Follow this guide to verify voltage at RAM SECTION


    DDR 3 ram section voltage check list at ram slot

    DDR3 operating voltage VDD (at coil )= 1.5V PINs 75,76 ram slot

    VRef_DQ = 0.75 V at PIN 1
    VTT/Termination voltage= 0.75V PINs 203,204

    VRef_CA. = 0.75V PIN 126
    VDD SPD = 3.3V PIN 199
    SDA data = 3.3V PIN 200
    SCL clock = 3.3V PIN 202
    DRAM_RST# = 1.5V PIN 30

    DDR 3L ram section voltage check list at ram slot

    DDR3L operating voltage VDD (at coil )= 1.35V PINs 75,76 ram slot

    VRef_DQ = 0.67 V at PIN 1
    VTT/Termination voltage= 0.67V PINs 203,204

    VRef_CA. = 0.67V PIN 126
    VDD SPD = 3.3V PIN 199
    SDA data = 3.3V PIN 200
    SCL clock = 3.3V PIN 202
    DRAM_RST# = 1.35V PIN 30

    DDR4 operating voltage VDD (at coil )= 1.2V PINs 12,33,75 of ram slot

    VTT/Termination voltage= 0.5V PIN 258

    VRef_CA. = 0.5V PIN 164
    VDD SPD = 3.3V PIN 255
    SDA data = 3.3V PIN 254
    SCL clock = 3.3V PIN 253
    DRAM_RST# = 1.2V PIN 108

    VTT is half VDDQ, for DDR3L VDDQ = 1.35V so VTT = 0.675V, and for DDR4 VDDQ=1.2V so VTT=0.6V.

      Oh my mistake yes I knew it is half but wrote 0.5 lol

      Correction DDR4 :0.6 not 0.5
      Ddr3l is ok 0.67 in general

            HI, very useful information that you put here, BUT, you have mistake pin number for VREF_CA on DDR4. Is pin 146 VREF_CA, and you write pin 164.
            Hope you can correct this for use of others in this great forum. The info itself is very very useful. thanks a lot for that.

                254 pin is ground ,SDA data = 3.3V Pin :285 and SCL clock = 3.3V PIN 141 not 253
