Owner said it couldn't load Windows, because it would shut down on its own, then after power up again, it tries to "Automatic repair", then shut down before finishing the repair, then again...
Ok, at my first check, the laptop started perfectly. It was left playing Youtube, then after more than 3 hours, it suddenly shut down. After that, the original problem started again, i.e. it gets to the Acer logo then off.
Sometimes it lasts about 1 min, then off again.
Nothing is hot, and it doesn't seem to be a temperature problem as it happens even when cold.
I see this issue is common for this model, but while working on battery, as it has a switch on the bottom RAM cover that tends to fail and shuts it down. But on this one it happens while plugged in too, and the switch is measured well.
Could it be the thermal protection circuit is tripping falsely?
It confuses me that it worked for more than 3 hours at first without any issues
TIA for any clues on this.
