    SMC for 820-3208-A - any other compatible model

    Hello everyone

    I know there are sometimes some SMC compatibility between apple logic boards of the same year/series

    I have a dead 820-3208-A board of a MacBook Air 11" A1465 2012 needing a replacement SMC but I have no donor board of this exact model.

    Does anyone know if there is any other compatible SMC of another board model?

      Better use the correct one, but 3209 should work as well.

          Ill see if a 3209 does the trick. If not ill have to find a 3208.

              hello..MacBook Air model A1465, EMC 2631, motherboard 820-3435-B, liquid flow in it ... after washing the motherboard, without anything connected (keyboard, hdd, wifi board, etc),
              connect the charger and the laptop start like in the video, and so on, the voltages seem ok ... does anyone have any idea?...

              Hi!!
              Yesterday I was installing a new Wifi thermostat for my domestic gas water heater model Vaillant 242/2-3, and accidentlly one wire from mains touched one wire from the thermostat output contacts. This shut off the heater so I finished installing the thermostat and then went out to check the heater

              I found one fuse blown (T2 250V). Replaced it with another equivalent fuse and it blew right away. I measured L-N in mains input and I sometimes got 4K but sometimes, not sure why, I got 100 Ohm...
              At a certain point, moving stuff around, I put all wires back in place and...
