Dell Inspiron 15 3552, HDD/DVD not found

Hello,

I have two machines same model, processor Intel Pentium with above said issue.

HDD is good, 5V is good, no shorting.
Can anybody help me?

Nobody solved this issue?
I want to let you know that both system had bios password, I flashed it and then hdd/dvd detection issue.

And system bios update also freezes.
Plz help somebody.

There is bios update available on dell site. Simple "xxx.exe /writeromfile" command will extract full 8mb bios. Flash that bios to rule out bios issue.

unfortunately I don't have old file.

Ask for bios in BIOS section .

There is bios update available on dell site. Simple "xxx.exe /writeromfile" command will extract full 8mb bios. Flash that bios to rule out bios issue.

I already tried but didn't work.
I'm not sure if it is bios problem, can somebody cofirm?

Use this thread. I've uploaded bios extracted from dell update. If this doesnt work, problem may not be related to bios.
