    Asus - u500v/ux51vz rev 2.0

    Hello guys, hope you are all fine!

    I'm facing a trouble with an ASUS motherboard UX51VZ REV. 2.0
    The issue is simple, no power, no LED indicators... simple dead board.

    After a little search i found a similar problem here on forum:
    https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...ghlight=ux51vz
    It could be the same issue or similar.

    I use the boardview of this board to search and try to found any type of solution, but nothing.
    UX51VZ 2.0 BV

    I've been checking and i have various shorts to GND;
    At "+3VA_EC" i have short to GND.
    At "PC8131","PC8132","PC8133"PL8100" line they are all shorted to GND;
    At "C3006" and "C3003" i have short to GND near the BIOS IC.
    And on Jumpers "PJP8201" and "PJP8202" and almost that components near around them are shorted to GND as well.
    "PL8400" and near caps are both shorted to GND.

    So i'm facing a big problem i think but i really want to try to solve and fix this board.
    Please there's anyone could point me or help me solving this ?
    Anyone face this before and solved?

    Thanks

    Troubleshooting process goes like this: Inject 3.3V on 3VA_EC, burn your finger on the PCH, cry.

      Ok, i did it, and the "U3001" - IT8517VG gets very hot.
      Could this one be the problem ?

        I replace the U3001
        And now seems at 3VA_EC i don't have anymore short..
        But the area of the picture at beggining of thread keeps in sort...

              OK, on +3VSUS point i inject the 3V on U4503 pin 5.
              I get Hot on U2001 (Southbridge - C.S BD82HM76 BGA989 915666)
