TOSHIBA SATELLITE A500 (LA-4991P).

This laptop have a weird issue with lcd panel. (hdmi is ok)

It mounts a LTN160AT02 panel with no back-light and no video.

I have mounted a N154I2-L02 panel only for test and it works.

With a new LTN160AT02 does not work and have the same problem with signals LCD_EDID_CLK, and LCD_EDID_DATA. (pulses are missing)

I wonder where the problem is located, and a new bios dump have been programmed, thinking in a compatibility problem.

Any suggestion will be much appreciated.

Try copying edid dump from old panel to new panel.

Hi, thanks for your answer.

I have done the dump copy and the problem persist. Also I did a copy of N154I2-L02 dump on the new panel and nothing changes.

Probably there is a problem of compatibility with the vga-bios.

I will try a new vga-bios.
