    HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11 NO VDD VOLTAGE

    Im not getting any voltages into the RAM slots thats why it wont display , looking at the PUM1 I dont have any reading on PIN 19,5,6 ..

    How can I repair this type of motherboard>.
    I need some suggestion..

      check 5V on pin#11 and 12..and also check short circuit on PLM2 with ground....also check +B voltage on the Drain (PIN5) on PQM1 if all are OK replace ic RT8207 with working one and check the result.....

          PIN 11 AND 12 HAS 5V PLM2 is shorted to gND PIN5 PQM1 HAS 19V

              remove PJPM1 PJPM2 jumper from the mob and test which side is short to GND

                          I dont know what happen after testing it again the short was gone, i didnt remove anything

                                      Low resistance on CPU VCore is normal. You should rather check if you get voltage on CPU VCore…
