Sony VGN-AW | MBX-194 | No Backlight

Hello,

I got post screen, without backlight.

I am searching for classic sony vaio "Z" or "F" fuse near lcd cable connector but i can find something familiar.

Can anyone help me locate the fuse ?

Where is the inverter at that screen located - might you know ?

what is you mother baord model exact the image doen't match the Screen you are having a LCD screen not LED ?

The screen at the picture is 100% the same is the laptop's.

There is no inverter somewhere.

your Schematic page 32 LVDS section in the Motherboad not the screen voltage in pin 28 29 30 CN6 connector

On this series the panel has ccfl for backlight.
I would start with checking the inverter board (small board located on bottom of the screen).
If you don't have another inverter for check try with another ccfl panel or do some measurements on the input of the inverter board.

I dont think that its a CCFL Screen, there is no inverter.

The full screen model is LTN184HT02-S01, so its a LED screen, thats why i am searching for the classic "f" or "z" fuse with vaio led laptops has near screen connector and its responsible for backlight.

You have a revision 2.0 motherboard. My guess is the rev 2.0 motherboard came with LED screens and the earlier rev motherboards came with LCD`s. There is no schematic available for the rev 2.0 . Can you take a close up picture of the LVDS connector area ,and give us voltage measurements for all the pins .
