Acer aspire one D257 - no video

Hello.
I dont have now nothing for repair so i put on my table this crap that i have a long time.

looks like everything is working, have every voltage, but no video.
Flashed hundreds of bios dump, check and replace pr30, have HWPG.

in schematic is nice poweron diagram, but find something is real pain in ass. looks like every component is not need and not be installed /like HWPGs diodes/

does anybody have boardviewfor this crap?

Check PR30 620K ohm, if open replace it.

Its common problem for this series, due melt sponge which covering LED indicator.

not help. he have picture but no backlight and have picture on external


Im giving up on this little crap. it goes to components spare

but i learn from it and i fill up my app collection

Its the bga chip which goes bad. In one such case(quanta ze6), i found southbridge bad. Replacing it worked .So if you have same chip you can try replacing it.(reball wont work)

dont have that ic or spare board. even if i have it i would not replacing it because it is not worth it. the laptop is now in bin and board in stock for spare parts

Thank's man, your solution saved my day!!!
But i've replaced PR30 with 390K which i found on donor board and it works like it should be!!!!
