lenovo edge E530 white screen

Hallo.
Have this Lenovo Edge E530 that boot just to white screen
reflashed bios, but nothing changed
tested with known good lcd. when in white screen, brightnes controll work
also nothing on hdmi

i realize that +VCC_GFXCORE_AXG is only 0.45v
i have uma gpu so i dont know it is enough

GFXCORE at 0.45V is ok.Check LVDS pinout voltage.

Check the LVDS voltage as @mcplslg123 said ,the LVDS cables fail on these ,and theres problems with flexing around the left hinge, vent .

while checking voltages i found this q2102
ckecked both sides for short
in little time i dont find that mosfet so i just jumped s-d and picture comes on

just search on boards for replacement

Any SOT-23 P channel mosfet should do as long as its rated at the same or better spec

I'd say change the screen. I had many cases where a white screen came from a defective screen.
But in your case it is the mosfet.

Remember everyone for any laptop white screen problem

white screen always come when 3.2 volts not going to any LCD or LED fuse

All LED have two fuses one have 19 Voltage and One is 3.2

so you can check voltage on fuse if not showing complete 3.2 then always display will come white screen


in the upper case you show in pic there is one transistor that is burn from middle just check which pin have 3.2 voltages then just make a jumper to the other side where is only 1 pin

after the jumper i think your problem will solve
