Hello All,
I currently have acquired a laptop does not turn on or show any signs of life. There is no light by the charger port or any other LEDS. With a volt meter I have tested the AC adapter and it is functioning properly. There are 19.xx volt coming into the board from the DC Jack to the system board. There is 19.xxx volts at the drain of the the first Mosfet. Anything after the first Mosfet does not have power. I am assuming that the Mosfet is the issue however I am having difficulty in finding a replacement in the US. The Mosfet has the following numbers inscribed on it M3016D 452 02J. This mosfet is made by Ubiq. I was unable to find a data sheet on this Mosfet just for the QM3016D. I found a couple Chinese Mosfets but the did not have the 452 02J on them. Does anyone know where I would be able to find a replacement that would work and what the 452 02J stands for? I would also need some capacitors 046 100 25V as I found one that was leaking. Does any one have a schematic for this laptop? Finally does any one have any other suggestions that I should take a look at?
