Toshiba satellite l550-124

Hi i have the laptop from my sister here.

It is toshiba l550-129 with motherboard NWSAA LA-5322P rev1.0

No start up only two white light one adapter, one power , the fan spins for 30 sec then it shuts down and you have only the light from the adapter.

Anyone a idea what the problem is ? Where i must look? I have no idea how to start for fixing this, is this bios problem??? Or hardware??? Is this repairable?

Hi, after shutdown, check the voltages on all important rails.

I asked my sister, somebody she knows put the laptop in the oven. I am afraid that the gpu processor dead is' he saw it on YouTube.

I think i am wasted my time to trying repair this not.

don't put in oven, instead just measure voltages and let us know.

I didn't put it in the oven but my sister friend did it.

Wich voltages i must measure? B+ is good.

Yes, checking all the voltages is a good first step. It can take a long time to check the schematic for each rail and then find it on the board though. It may be fastest to do it in the opposite direction.

Every voltage rail is going to have a coil on the output. So, it's possible to just look at the board and measure all the coils, writing down the coil name and the measured voltage for each one. Then, when you're done, find all the coil names in the schematic and which rail they belong to. And then confirm you found everything that was on page 3.
