Hello,
i have a question about my laptop Asus K53SD. When i plug a dc my laptop auto-starting but no there,s no signal on screen or HDMI/VGA, I'm not a specialist but i try to check the mobo and i noticed there is a problem with Parade PS8101 - this element is very,very hot. This element has short circuit between GND and VCC (when i plug dc there is 3,32V). As i check this is a HDMI/DVI level shifter. And my question is - can i remove this ic? Will the notebook start without this element?

Hello everyone, I'm writing here maybe someone will be able to help me, for two days I've been trying to repair a notebook (ASUS K53SD) without success. the PC turns on and the Asus logo appears but it doesn't go on, it doesn't enter the bios and it does nothing else. after having done numerous tests such as changing the ram hdd etc. I read somewhere that it could be the bios, I bought a programmer (ch341a with clip) but even by flashing memory I had no results, it remains on the Asus logo screen. I attached some photos. Thanks in advance
