Hi
had this macbook pro 15" 2013 model retina.
it has this weird issue of LCD screen intermittent disappearing, while external display has constant display.
while it has no display on the LCD screen, on the system settings(via external display) shows it has there's no LCD screen exist.
and usually after a while screen comes back after awhile.so it's very difficult for me to measure on the board with short fail time.
I don't have chance to use torch to shine on the LCD while the LCD display is gone.
not sure is it something to do with power or data to the screen.
I measured
R7701 it gives me 130K ohm (a few times) and 80k when its good.
but i think with 130K ohm on R7701 it should pull LCDBKLT_EN_L to even lower voltage, so the Q7700 should be turn on even it goes to 130k.
Can someone please verify , if you have a no backlight issue, while connecting to external monitor, does your display setting appear as no LCD exist? ( to verify it's a data or power issue.)
