Hi everyone,
I browsed the forum for threads talking about the 0D128 Nec/Tokin capacitor but found them only about 0E128 even on Google there's nothing about it, and since i'm a noob in these matters i figured i'd ask before replacing anything, so yeah, my Nec/Tokin capacitor is marked by 0D128 and after some digging i found that means 1200uf 2v, i found a thread about the 0E128 where people said it's fine to replace it with 4 330uf 2.5v capacitors, the 0E stands for 2.5v and 128 for 1200uf, in my case the 0D stands for 2v only, so my question is, is it safe to use capacitors that have higher voltage than my Nec/Tokin capacitor rated at 2v ? And while you're at it, which type or kind of capacitors should i buy ? Ones that withstand heat, i use my laptop for gaming.
I will disassemble my laptop tonight and take some pictures if you wanna have a look.
Thanks everyone.
