Hi Guys,
i have just got in a Dell Inspiron 1545 Laptop, totally dead, customer reported that it had been working fine up to about 2 days ago. I notice that when i plug in the Power Adapter the green led on the adapter immediately dies, removing it from the laptop does not resolve the led issue and must be plugged out and plugged back in to the power socket to sort it, I have tried 2 other known good adapters with the same result, removing battery and trying mains adapter directly makes no differences, obviously a motherboard issue, anybody got any ideas where the best place to start might be ?, due to Easter hols i haven't got as far as disassembling the unit yet, many thanks in advance.
