Acer Laptop no display (No CPU enable signal)

Hello Everybody,

I am trying to fix a friends laptop.

The problem is that the screen never turns on. Nothing on the HDMI either.

He took it to the store and the quoted him 2500 crowns (100 Dollars)

They played with the BIOS chip and the screen was iterating over White black and RGB flashes on the screen.

I bought a new bios of Ebay and received it today.

I have installed it and the screen is now dark again.

I have messaured the voltage for the screen and 3D3v_LCDVDD_PWR is not 3.3 volts.



Above is the schematic of the power on circuit. eDP_VDDEN_CPU is not going high.

Can anybody recommend me something to try ?

check resistance to ground on that signal. post full schematic
