I have a Macbook Air late 2011 model that will fire up no problem but I have no screen totally black no video?? add an external display and all is will?? Some indication was a bad logic board so I replace the logic board and the condition still exist. Can someone please help with this? I have not taken the screen apart because of the difficulty was wondering how to check it without taking it apart. I have seen people replacing the screen but not sure why and I was wondering if there is a common problem with these MBA?? I have searched around the net but haven't found any thing that looks like my problem other then how to replace the screen assembly or the lcd itself. After replacing the logic board I have invested more into it than it is worth so I in now for the long run.
