    Toshiba c50-a172 with out cmos batt is working fine .....with cmos batt system no power up???????? How to solve this problem pls help mb : Pt10f uma mb rev 2.1

    Battery polarity correct?.....Battery has no internal shorts?....Get new battery.

      all ready reprogrammed bios and change rtc batt..but same condition..

        Look for a crystal near the southbridge and try to replace that.
