    Toshiba l645d mobo vin short

Pls help.my Toshiba l645d vin is short.whenever I plug in the charger, the light on the charger switches off and when i remove the charger from the laptop it switches on again.the laptop does not also respond to power from the battery.i downloaded the schematics and read it from the charger part.i realized that anywhere where VIN is written ,it connects to ground.i believ VIN should be 15v directly from the charger.so how do I know the faulty component .this is the schematics used

Discoveries so far shows the following components which are supplied by VIN are all short: started from pq27,then pc18,pc16,pd6,pc174,pc93,c80.all this components expect pq27 reads continuity and beeps on the meter which is different from what is on the schematics.pq27 also has continuity at the supply part .could it be the faulty component?anyone Pls share ideas .thanks

Remove pq27 and check for short
      PD6 could be short

Thanks for the reply,I'll try that and get back.i just want to point out that no component is on pd6 and both points still reads short.ill remove pq27 as U said and read again Thoug the reason why I am confused is because pq27 has no connection with ground on the other legs except the supply part which is point 4.so I was actually suspecting pr18 or pr16.and I was also wondering the first point where vin enters the board.is it at pq27? Or some other points.

pq27 removed to find where the short was now we know its in the Vin side next i would use a bench supply and see what gets hot.
Have had pc8 short in the past

ASUS X54H laptop thinks it's always charging even with charger unplugged
                  by flat-earther
The charging indicator light on my ASUS X54H laptop is always on even when the charger is disconnected.

Windows also shows ''Plugged in'' when charger is not connected.

This problem started year ago gradually, when unplugging the charger the charging light took several seconds to disappear, then minutes, and now almost always on even when unplugged for an entire day.
Strangely, before sometimes immediately when plugging in the charger the charging light went away, and later came back with it connected.
If I let battery run out and say it has 3% Windows will...
