Connect it according to the voltage written on them.pwm and led en to any 5v or 3v source on the board.same to other sources....

That's d picture posted earlier.just put 3v from any part of the board preferable the display area to vcc,pwm and led en as shown in the pictures ....

Hi guys.about a month ago I had a backlight issue on my l745 laptop.i searched for answers all over the Internet including here.i was finally able to resolve the issue.here is how I solved it.incase someone else needs the tutorial.
I searched the whole board and all fuses are intact.none burnt.i should add here that the problem started when I stupidly removed the lcd cable with the battery still attached to the system.i got an info online on how to check currents on the lcd.according to your schematics four point should majorly av power.vcc 3v,pwd and led enabler should have 5v but in my...

I've remove pq27.all the components connected with vin still short.will I av to reAd all those components one by one?how do I read the components without removing them and still detect the faulty one.also Pls at what point does vin enters d MOBO....

Thanks for the reply,I'll try that and get back.i just want to point out that no component is on pd6 and both points still reads short.ill remove pq27 as U said and read again Thoug the reason why I am confused is because pq27 has no connection with ground on the other legs except the supply part which is point 4.so I was actually suspecting pr18 or pr16.and I was also wondering the first point where vin enters the board.is it at pq27? Or some other points....

Discoveries so far shows the following components which are supplied by VIN are all short: started from pq27,then pc18,pc16,pd6,pc174,pc93,c80.all this components expect pq27 reads continuity and beeps on the meter which is different from what is on the schematics.pq27 also has continuity at the supply part .could it be the faulty component?anyone Pls share ideas .thanks

Pls help.my Toshiba l645d vin is short.whenever I plug in the charger,the light on the charger switches off and when i remove the charger from the laptop it switches on again.the laptop does not also respond to power from the battery.i downloaded the schematics and read it from the charger part.i realized that anywhere where VIN is written ,it connects to ground.i believ VIN should be 15v directly from the charger.so how do I know the faulty component .this is the schematics used...
