Sony Vaio inverter input pin layout

Hello,

I am working on a Sony VAIO which doesn't have backlight.
Tried other inverter / panel with no success.
It has a 6 pins inverter on which I measure only 19V
Can you please tell me its voltage layout? I think that the 2 first pins are 19V (which I have them) and the 2 last have to be 0 right? I have the 4 pins with 0 voltage unfortunately.

Take a good picture of inverter input,from both sides and post...first two pins are usually 19v and last two ground,and two in the middle are invertor enable an dimming pin which require about 3,3-5v, 0-3v(for non-inverted) respectively...Don`t apply this info to your invertor before checking thoroughly...you could damage your board...

Be aware, don't try other inverter if you don't know the pins, even with the same plug, it's possible to burn some component on motherboard.
The controller chip on inverter mobo, needs an enable signal.
Download the datasheet of this chip and find the pin with a tester.
It's possible to know the inverter pins with a motherboard schematic .
I solve an issue in a old notebook, the motherboard does not send the enable signal,
by creating it on inverter board , the lamp lit up. It was not possible however to adjust the brightness

Thank you both for your replies. I am trying to do the same with this one as you, jasko_jacker, I want to find the 2 necessary voltages for enabling the backlight. The thing is that I don't have a VAIO with the same connector in order to "produce" the voltages.
Do you think that connecting on those 2 pins 3V that it will work?

does vaios usually have a comparator Ic this comparator is responsable for letting BLon , and outher enbale pins to light up display . bether way is you to tell us the board code , MBX-xxx for we can manage to help you out

Hi again,

I soldered both middle pins to ~3.3Volts and now the laptop has backlight.
The odd thing is that brightness control is not possible. But no worries.
