hi its hp 15 and when i plaged it the led on the charge connecter show white light and when i turnon it shows light led on front and it turns off and the cpu become very hot its anexpected from sild cpu

How long does it take to turn off after pressing the power button?
is any led on or is the fan spinning after turning off?
does it do POST?

it stay around 3-4 seconds and no fun spinning and also no post but the cpu heat quicklyComment

If cpu's heat-sink works fine, I recommend testing components which are directly connected to the cpu, probably for a short.Comment

I have a Lithonia Lighting 65-Watt Gray Hardwired Compact Fluorescent
I also have back when Light of America had these light bulbs available for yard lights
The issue with Light of America was the blast boards had all most certain board failure while bulbs hardly ever fail
While the Lithonia lighting fixture has all most certain bulb failure
So I have modified the Lithonia lighting fixture to accept the Light of America light bulb and see how long this will last

I have an Acer Aspire A315-42 laptop. I generally leave it on for long time by closing down its lid (so it enters the sleep mode). Recently, it rained quite heavily in out area. And the humidity and moisture seem to be high. So one late evening, after I opened the lid and turned on the laptop, it did power on as the blue light turned on but after it booted to the desktop screen, just 5-10 seconds after both the screen and blue light went out and laptop shut down (the blue power light turned orange). And after 2-4 seconds that orange light went off and the laptop died....Today, 02:57 PM
