HP530 Laptop no power up.

I have a HP530 laptop which does not power up when the power botton is pressed.I have replaced the hard drive but the laptop still does not function.
I installed the hard drive which I removed from the HP530 in another lap top and that lap top functioned.Can anyone give a solution for this problem?

replace the hard drive for no power on laptop is not logic, the laptop must be powerd up without any hard drive installed on it, i think it's a power problem; if you are unable to check the motherboard take it to a professionnel, it can do the job;
