    The password is stored in the MEC (kbc) chip. Need to replace the MEC and flash with a working non-passworded MEC/KBC dump.

            well the guy is asking for 85$ to unlock the bios password ..... my problem is that i need to know if the computace is activated in the security settings , rather than that everything work , i can log into windows and the usb boot option is activated ....
            i can see a lot of peapole are facing this issue and i have soldering skills and i do have a Programmer so with little help to locate the MEC ship i can upload a dump file , maybe some of the pro guys would find a solution to go to the next level
