Toshiba C665, non-stop power LED blink

Client C665 arrived today. No powering up, just the AC-in LED steady (green) and when you try turn it on, the "Power" LED blinks green constantly at a steady rate of about once a second.

Have removed/replaced RAM, battery, HDD to no avail.

Re: Toshiba C665, non-stop power LED blink

After disassembling the laptop so I could get to the mainboard and screen hinges, I've found it boots again.

The trouble is, I don't trust that the problem is fixed properly, so if anyone could let me know what the continuous blinking of the power LED means for this laptop, that'd be a great help in deciding if this problem is potentially resolved properly, or needs more investigation.

( I'm repairing the hinges with JB-weld, typical split & crumbling post heads causing the release of the brass blind nuts )
