Acer Aspire M5-481PT won't charge battery

Have voltages at the following pins on PU6 (BQ24707A), page 31, with battery and charger connected:
1-19
2-19
6-2.6
8-3.3
9-3.3
16-6
17-5.8
18-2.6
19-2.6
20-18.6
Have nothing at ACOK, pin 5, figure that's a problem. Using known good battery and original good Acer adapter.
Have 3.3v at pin 3 of PQ50, nothing at other pins of chip. Also have 3v on each side of PR117.
Are pins 2 and 6 of PQ50 being pulled to ground by pins 1 and 4?

Replace PU6 (BQ24707A),
check VIN voltage.

Haven't replaced PU6 yet because now there is a ticking noise with adapter plugged in until the board starts. However, board no longer starts with adapter and battery together and connecting battery after board is running will cut off board. Still bad PU6?
