Re: Acer Aspire 5920G bright white screen GPU 8600M working
Guys, you don't understand where I was comming from. Of course Badcaps is the place for the best solution. I am a happy member and value the knowledge a lot. My knowledge is limmited, but I try to help with schematics and sometime a suggestion based on my experience.
When I made the suggestion to this thread, there was a lot of questions and no solution yet. Therefor I suggested to google the header (which I did) and a amazing number of hits came back with the same problem and some of them looked pretty serious.
After my post I got railroaded as if I committed the biggest treason for looking outside Badcaps. https://www.badcaps.net/forum/images/smilies/hiding.gif
I find, that a technician, how good he may be should be open to suggestions.
And I did not send anybody away from badcaps, ( of course a novice can't handle the solutions on google) the meaning is, pull more knowledge inside Badcaps. (look at it as a excursion)
Some of you will recognize this way from larger companies. They call it managing a problem before soluting it. Typical job af a service manager who doesn't actually repair.
I hope this cleares it up
