Asus fx516pc Gaming issue No Power GPU. pls help me !

Hello everyone, I’m working on the motherboard of an ASUS FX516PC. Initially, the laptop had no response at all because the user replaced the RAM and accidentally caused a short circuit, which burned the EC. I replaced the EC and the machine now powers on and shows display, but it does not detect the GPU.

When I check the GPU power rails, there is no voltage for the VRAM and no 0.9V for the Vcore. The DGPU_FBVDDQ_EN signal, which enables the VRAM power, is missing. At the LOGIC IC SLG4U44336V (STQFN20 package), I have +3VSUS and 1.8V MAINEN_GPU. I replaced the SLG4U44336V logic IC as well, but the issue remains the same.

Can anyone help me?

GPU will not be active till there is a demand on the graphics. Do you not see the GPU in the device manager? The GPU will be PCIe bus based so confirm if the PCIe interface parts are present - like the DC blocking capacitors, etc.

Thank you! But the GPU should always appear even in the BIOS. However, in this case it doesn’t show up at all, not even in the BIOS. It only shows the onboard Intel Iris Xe Graphics. It’s probably a hardware-related issue with the GPU… please help me. Thank you very much
