Acer Predator Helios 300 GH53G turning off after 3 secs. Really a bios or something else?

    Hi all,

i got this laptop from a repairshop which tried to fix a non booting bios issue but only physically destroyed the mainbios chip. I reprogrammed the bios and also the i2c and EC chip several times but the fault is still the same. I get power LED for 3-5 secs. and the laptop turns off. Charging also works.
Concerning the flashing i don`t know what else to do so i looked for other problems.
My thermal cam shows that the SY8288RAC power ic at PU1801 is the only hotspot (35-40c) when the board is off with battery connected. Adding the power supply i get a cheeping noise somewhere in the are of the chip.
Turning the laptop on the hotspots goes away and the PCH starts to warm up for three seconds before the laptop turns off.
I don`t have any shorts but the 4R7 coil next to the battery connector shows a resistance of 1,4 Megaohm.
any conclusions what to do? Can the power ic be faulty?
