I have an 820-02757 logicboard which has a shorted PP3V8_AON. I've narrowed this down to the PMU (343S00638) and ordered one from Ali. It was supposed to be brand new but as always it came with scratches on the top, second-hand reballed. The short has now gone but I'm getting no backlight and it's boot looping. The original fault was a shorted audio amp IC which I've changed. No liquid damage, board is in brand new condition.
My question is this, in the schematics under U7700 it gives me a list of different PMU's which all have different numbers on them. Will any of them work on this board or does it need to be an 343S00638?
I don't really want to order another from Ali and i cannot find this chip anywhere but i do have a donor A3113 820-03285 which shows 998-23585 in the schematics but looking at the A3113 logicboard the number is 343S00668.
Will it work or do i need 343S00638 and why has Apple put a list of different PMU's in the schematics?
