Hi guys
Its my own fault, I'm just hoping somebody can help and the laptop isn't bricked.
The BIOS chip is a 25rh256cxiq, I read it using neoprogrammer 2.2.0.10 but like a complete idiot didn't search the chip, it was set to the wrong chip, I read the BIOS, unlocked it, flashed the unlocked file and now the laptop is dead, won't even try to power on, only after I'd flashed it I realised the wrong chip was selected.
How stuffed am I? Is there a way to flash a generic Dell Latitude 5420 BIOS so I'm not stuck with a dead paper weight?
I have another identical Dell 5420 here that is also BIOS locked, I don't even want to attempt that one, feel like a complete idiot.
Using a CH341A and a WSON8 pogo.
Having read a lot more the 25rh256cxiq isn't supported, but people have had success flashing it as an XM25QH256B chip, I wish I'd have known this before I backed up, erased and flashed a 9mb file
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
