HP Folio 9470m 6050A2514101-MB-A02.no Main Power

Hello everyone. I have on the table HP Folio 9470m with mobo 6050A2514101-MB-A02. Laptop has not power. No main power
19v present on source of Q6010
the gate have 19v
the drain have 0v
i test these mosfet (Q6009; Q6010) but it like good i think the probleme is Q6009 ADP_EN signal from KBC before replace KBC Controller i come here to find well the faulty compnnenent. Thanks for helping

Before replacing the KBC, confirm that the main power rail is not shorted.

Remove all power. Meter in resistance mode.

Test Q6010 is ok with a resistance check of:

source / drain
source / gate
gate / drain

Each resistance must be hundreds of k ohms or higher if normal.

Next,

Measure the resistance to ground of pin # 1 on U6000 (ACN).

Attach the power adapter (be sure it is suitable to power this board @ 65W or higher).

Measure the voltage to ground of:

U6000 charger IC

REGN pin # 16
VCC pin # 20
ACPRES pin # 5
ACDET pin # 6

Otherwise, yes, Q6010 is a P-channel mosfet that requires the gate to be a lower voltage than the voltage being passed betwee source / drain pins. For this action, Q6009 must be enabled with a logic high signal on the gate of Q6009. Then Q6009 will conduct and force R6015 to ground which will create a voltage divider to lower the gate voltage on Q6010 to enable.

Test on Q6010 in resistance mod:

source / drain = 229k
source / gate = 150k
gate / drain = 512k

Measurement of the resistance to ground of pin # 1 on U6000 (ACN) = 50k

65w power adapter plug mesurement to ground of U6000

REGN pin # 16 = 5,97V
VCC pin # 20 = 18,80V
ACPRES pin # 5 = 3,31V
ACDET pin # 6 = 2,66V

To me, the first 2 posted measurements look low. Suggest to flux and carefully remove this part off the board. Allow it to cool down. Then repeat the same mesurements on the part while it is on your work bench. Are the measurements still in this range? Post the measurements.

After remouve Q6010 and let cool motherboard and take mesurement it same

mesurement take in motherboard:

source / drain = 231k
source / gate = 150k
gate / drain = 513k

After fallowing topic to find defective mosfet, all different test q6010 like good

Can you confirm the mosfet measurements are from the mosfet on your work bench? (Not on the motherboard)

If yes, the measurements still look low to me for a good mosfet. A good working mosfet should have very high hundreds of k ohms on each measurement.

source red prob / drain black prob= OL
source red prob / gate black prob = OL
gate red prob / drain black prob = OL

I have this model SI7129DN Mosfet on stock if any doubt i can replace with it

Then the removed mosfet is not shorted is ok to use on the board. The OL = over limit for the scale used for measurement. This means that the 600k resistance scale is too low. This is good for a mosfet check. If the resistance was still low then the mosfet is leaking and is considered to be defective. The fault of your board is elsewhere.
