    Acer nitro 5 AN517-54-71TL Gh53g-LA-L191P Part identification

    Hi !
I would need some help in part identification , on a GH53G-LA-L191P motherboard , i have downloaded a boardview file from here for LA-L191P there are some difference but essentialy its the same on this file it shows prm6 i would like to know the value of that resistor i think.
    Thank you !

Hi i need a little help with this laptop i have changed the resistor , before that the laptop the laptop had lights on the keyboard upon powering but no fans was spinning and there was no picture, now it wont turn on and if i plug the cable in something is ticking very silently above the cpu.
20volts are prenesent on the board but after PQB1 the 20 volt are gone, maybe PQB1 only starts after powered up?
How can i start this laptop without a power button?
I would appreciate every tip what should i look for what to measure .
        Thank you !

Locate the attached part of the circuit. Note that the netname (label) has the '#' suffix = means this is an active LOW signal. So if you make this line low (ie. ground the signal line), the board will treat this as an ON/OFF action to lower the board.

Take a piece of wire and connect one side to ground (metal shield is ok / USB metal clamshell, etc.) and the other side to this signal line. If you see a pushbutton then this will of course offer the same result as the wire.

Thanks For everything but the problem solved it self i was cheking for voltages and suddenly pqm1 is blown , now i think its beyond repair because the board almost burned throught.
Could it be that because of the liqiud something internaly shorted on the motherboard? Because i have measured pqm1 before and it seemed fine also i pluged the cable in and out for like 10 times and nothing happend then suddenly it smoked out.

Can you post pics of this burnt mosfet? Sounds like the part was pushed to beyond spec.

With no power to the board, configure your meter to resistance mode. Measure the resistance to ground of PLM1 (either side). You are checking the resistance to ground to check if there is a shorted part on this power rail.

What is the resistance in ohms? With a burnt mosfet @ PQM1, it is possible that the high voltage of 19v has leaked onto the low voltage rail @ PLM1 which would then kill the sensitive parts on this power rail.

                both sides half an ohm.
i had found a short earlyer on this side, not just the inductor but, PCM 10 12 13 14 also shorted , before the blow up there was no short on pqm1 but now every pad is shorted to ground.
its not burned its more charred it almost burned throught the board.

i just want to know that i did something wrong or there is a possibility that the liquid made an internal short of some kind?
iam not a pro at this but from 10 device i usually can fix 7-8 but this had me baffled , before this i removed all the shorted components mesured them ,and the board and no matter what i removed the board was always shorted to ground where it not supposed to be.
