Toshiba Sattelite L750D wont turn ON

Hi Everyone,

I had an Toshisa Sattelite L750D based on AMD A6 processor, DDR3 memory which is Not power ON.

The Power Light is ON;
When Turned ON, second light come up, but the fan doesn't start, no picture or flashing light.

I had remove CPU, clean the core, reput new thermal MX4 paste, removed everything (memory, hdd, putted back everything, and nothing still power on.

- Tested -
1. Removed The Inverted Screen Ribbon, "still not boot"
2. Remove Hard drive "still not boot"
3. Removed Memory "still not boot"
4. Removed Keyboard "still not boot"
5. Remove the USB side motherboard "still not boot"
5. AC tested, current until the board "OK".

I will send detailed picture of motherboard tonight as well. If anyone can help me rescue this portable computer, it's an really Clean unit. I want to recue him.

Here is the snapshot of the motherboard.

I also included the Mainboard power section where the power cable input. Let me know if anyone can help me with that.

Also, did the dust all under the plastic protective film can cause that issue? Too much dust stuck under that plastic film.

I have one at home that hade foil problem near the button!
I had to scratch and cut from that so it can work normally

What you mean by Foil Problem? Did your's power lights are working with that problem? Where is located the foil problem on yours? What are the symptomes of foil problem? Any idea im open!

the button had a foil that went to mobo and you could not start the notebook.
but when you plug the charger it light up and charged the batt
maybe the power button its broken

Is that possible to create an short between 2 connectors to test the button directly in the mainboard to simulaire the power ON ?

Yes you can!
But a touch not soldering stuff.
Just touch with a wire screw drive twizer

Did you read my first post, the motherboard react when pressing the power button, another lights come up, so im pretty sure that the button is not the problem. If you told me im wrong, i can double check, but if the button is defect, nothing will happen when pressing the power button. I can see a little fast green trigger in the capslock button sometimes, really fast, reaallly fast.

Still does the same, its not the power button the problem.

What can be the issue? IC, chip, ?

I`ll suggest a reflow!
if you goy not tools I`ll suggest to cook it

Reflow what? GPU only, or the complete motherboard?

Im suppose to get an reflow station soon. We wait for the replacement part.

because this is a AMD not intel with video o cpu, I think the chipset under the cpu has the video; so I`ll suggest a soft reflow first.

I will try an reflow with an controlled hot air gun. I will try it and let you know.
