ASUS ROG Zephyrus GA401IV - It won't start - voltage present after repairs

    Hi,
please I have this APL6012 circuit on my NB defective - it heats up. I soldered it but the NB still won't start. All voltages are present - except for battery charging.
The NB can be turned on, the keyboard lights up, the current consumption is slightly over 1A. All voltages are present. But nothing happens. It's just that as everything heats up, the current slowly increases.
Should the NB turn on without this circuit or does it need it to start? I don't know if that circuit communicates with the EC.
Thank you very much for your responses.

Wont work without APL6012 as it comminuvates via I2C and in the absence of this IC,the communivation is interrupted.

      Hello.
Thank you very much in advance for your response and please, can I have another question?
I also have a burned-out ALC289 audio IC. It is on the "inferior" SMB1. I can't start it without it either?
      Thank you very much

Audio ic is not required for posting,so you can de solder it.
Do check resistance to GND on 5V coil (Audio ic burnt ivery likely ndicates a damage in 5v rail)

Thank you very much for your help.
Yes, there was a problem on the 5V rail. Several ICs burned out here, including the APL6012. I don't know why. The GPU RAM mosfet on GND was broken.
I'm trying to put it together gradually. I'm not a professional. I want to try it as a self-education 😉
