Yes, there was a problem on the 5V rail. Several ICs burned out here, including the APL6012. I don't know why. The GPU RAM mosfet on GND was broken.
I'm trying to put it together gradually. I'm not a professional. I want to try it as a self-education 😉

Hi,
please I have this APL6012 circuit on my NB defective - it heats up. I soldered it but the NB still won't start. All voltages are present - except for battery charging.
The NB can be turned on, the keyboard lights up, the current consumption is slightly over 1A. All voltages are present. But nothing happens. It's just that as everything heats up, the current slowly increases.
Should the NB turn on without this circuit or does it need it to start? I don't know if that circuit communicates with the EC.
