    Toshiba c660 LA-6842p powers off

    Hi Im working on a C660 Toshiba and was wondering if anybody else has seen this issue, basically th elaptop post and trys to boot or will boot usb key but powers off after a few seconds.
    I have tried changing cpu/heatsink/ram but issue still there.
    The schematic is LA-6842p I have monitored
    PJ1=3.3v
    PJ4 =1.5v
    PJ5=5.18v
    PJ11/13=1.04v
    PJ3=1.78v
    PJ9=3.3v
    PJ8/10=1.05v
    None of these fluctuate greatly or change just before shut down.

    Any help would be appreciated.

        Also I have the same problem. When I turn it on, the LED lights up, the fan starts but turns off after a few seconds (both with power or with battery). Other times, however, turns on and works normally, but it happens that while it is on turns off suddenly.
        I disassembled believing it could depend on the fan, but it works properly... and also the problem makes even when it is cold.

        You've figured out what was the problem?

        Thank you

        bye bye

          I received one exactly with the same problem, I think the problem could be the INTEL BD they fail a lot!!!!

            Check if there 1.8vsp voltage on PU180. Just check voltages there that is where the problem is most times.
