Hello to all,
i have an asus ux303u that freezed mid-work, than from there it booted only into bios and failed to detect ssd. The +5VS_HDD and +3V_HDD were missing because +5VS and +3VS were missing too. I saw they're created from +5VSUS and +3WA_DSW (both OK) through gate enabling signals generated from +12VS (that was missing) . On the PQ8807 the +12VS is generated from +12VSUS (measured 14,20V), P_LS_12VS_EN_10 (measured 14V) and SUSB_EC# (0 volts). I thought that the problem was on the U3001 (an IT8995VG) that were not creating the SUSB_EC# signal, but before i could do other measurings the notebook died. Now if I press the power button it turns on and off instantly. All the previous voltages go down and quickly back up to normal. Charging light works, but i noticed that the usb pendrive inserted on the charger side (but not on the other side) flashes if the charger is inserted, even if the notebook does not turn on. Is it possible that the U3001 died completely? Or am I totally off the tracks? Thanks
