    Notebook Hp Pavilion X360 14-cd1021la

Good evening, I have a HP Pavilion X360 14-cd1021la notebook. I was working on some Excel spreadsheets. It didn't show any symptoms or anomalies during the 2 days I was using it. I turned it off normally and the next day when I wanted to use it, it didn't do anything. It doesn't have any light. I tried the charger on another HP, an Elitebook 820G1, and it's fine, it charges without problems. I've been trying to find information about the equipment, such as the schematic circuit, some reference to faults, and I haven't been able to find anything. My name is Luis and I'm from Santiago - Chile.

    Hello,
Did you try to hard reset? Remove the charger, take out the battery, press and hold the power button for 30-60 sec then plug the charger and try to power up again.

Try a CMOS reset first (remove battery and reinstall). That's the most obvious thing. I think the last time I worked on one, no schematics were available. I have seen power button cable to be an issue in some. It's stretches from the board over the fan to the power button assembly.

BTW, this model often comes in for broken screens. It's a really crap design by HP - the plastic for the hinge mount nuts in the lid often breaks, and the detached hinge breaks the screen when you close the lid. New lid will eventually do the same thing. Screen and lid are around AUD $300, then you have labour. So it's a pretty pricey repair for something that will probably happen again.
