acer aspire 9300 no display

problem with acer aspire 9300 laptop, no display. I reflowed 2 chips, without succces. it is powering on, but no display. missing voltages on vga en lcd connector

power for lcd LCDVDD also missing. i don`t understand why it comes from 2 places ?(See attachment). i checked LCDVDD_ON and NV_LCDVDD_ON and the voltages are not coming. comes from mcp51 (ICH ?) and G72M (is this gpu? sorry i am beginner) . i reflowed both this chips. can anybody help?

Have a look at the U33's datasheet:



Check RESET# (PIN 2). If it not low PCH will not proceed. Probably problem with temperatures.

Just to clarify, will it display on external monitor?

yes display is fine with vga on external monitor. i now have display on lcd monitor but not good. i found out 2 voltages on lcd connector are missing. So it must be a bad graphic chip.

LCD_TXBOUT2- and LCD_TXBOUT2+ are missing on lcd connector, others are OK.

i already did a reflow on graphic chip. Try another one, or needs reballing. i have no experience and ecuipment for reballing (yet)
