acer travelmate 6493

hello,

i have acer travelmate 6493 in the shop and its turns on for few second and then goes off and again turns on automatically without no display.

for me it is strange problem can't figure out, please help.

May be a bad CPU socket.

PL10, PL11 were grounded, after mild reflow to NBrigde, short is gone but still same problem.

Try and a BIOS flash. Also check RTC circuitry.
