Hello,
I have a messed up motherboard asus GL504GS 2.1.
Someone break pin of fan connector and 12V pin touch FAN1_PWM pin, and of course turn off pc..
Now pins are repaired but, still, the 3v/5v chip overheat, and FAN1_PWM is 12 ohm to ground.
FAN1_PWM is directly connected to IT8225VG-128.... There is just a condo on the way and it's okay.
So my deduction is IT8225VG-128 is dead and pull to much voltage from 3V linear of 3v/5v chip. (i already change 3v/5v chip for fun, and same problem of course...)
Can you confirm my guess?
thanks !
