Hi,have a Compaq mini 110c that starts and not give the bios post.its stay on,with the hdd running,wifi led running but with black screen without running any post of the bios.try a bios recovery,taking the 3v baterry off,push the start button for 30 sec,try with another ram,without hdd,but none of this solve the problema.Also change the bios baterry but no luck.Somebody have any ideas what can be?i suspect the bios is corrupt or motherbord has been overheating.Thanks!

thanks,i think i have to desolder the bios chip because with the amiboot recover not work.i give it a try with my programmer.Comment

Succes!it was an odissey but i could fix the netbook.first reflash bios but it withelistening the wifi card and the hdd could not initialize.So i go to the hp support and i downloaded the last versión of bios.The problem was that it only execute from Windows envirroment and when extract it with winrar don¨t give the .rom file.So i run the Hirensboot since i have the option to boot it and run the archive with the mini xp that its inside of the tool and against my belive it flash the bios to the last versión.no whitelistening,no hdd problem all Works just fine.THanks!Muchas gracias,amigo!Comment

Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...
