Let me be honest with you man, I couldn't lift up the positive cap (lower cap pointing toward the battery) following this video from 1:17 to 1:47 didn't work at all (I do only have lead free solder) and I didn't want to burn the board

with a heat gun and flux I heated the positive side of the capacitor for around a minute and couldn't lift it up, and it got really hot so I stopped. What do you recommend? I am so inexperienced that I have no idea when to stop and when to keep going

Recommend to source leaded solder and a donor board for practice. Test the process on the donor board till you are comfortable and then attempt this repair again. These are multilayer boards that demand heat but yes, too much heat will darken or burn the green solder mask or worse. You will need to keep the hot air nozzle in motion to even out the heat over the solder joints. The pcb will heat sink the effort so it does become a challenge. Practice patience and more practice.
